Get Involved - Overview

Although the people of New England have worked individually and collaboratively to sustain the natural landscapes that sustain us, threats to our forested, farmed, and other critical lands are increasing. We must redouble our efforts to show a united front, working across geographies and sectors to increase the current pace and scale of conservation.

Join thousands of New Englanders working together in local land trusts, conservation and recreation organizations, state and federal agencies, businesses, and as local landowners to protect our forested and farmed landscapes. Our active and growing initiatives offer a variety of ways to help double the pace of conservation in New England — or find your own way to play a part in sustaining New England for future generations.

Becoming a W&W partner obligates you to no specific agenda other than a commitment to the conservation of New England’s natural heritage. Only through this strengthened spirit of collaboration will we sustain New England’s natural landscapes and the many ecologic, economic, and cultural benefits they provide.

W&W partners do not need to endorse all the specific components of the W&W vision. There are many paths to successful conservation in New England and W&W partners reflect a healthy diversity of views and strategies. Our partners do share a deep commitment to the New England region and to a future that includes healthy forested and farmed landscapes to sustain future generations.
