WINTER HARBOUR, Maine (January 19, 2012)—The Schoodic Education and Research Center (SERC) is now accepting applications for the 2012 Acadian Internship In Regional Conservation and Stewardship.
The six-week course will be a mix of in-class lectures and field-based experiential learning. Students will gain an understanding of past, present and future land uses; conservation challenges; landscape ecology principles; and local, state and federal land use regulations.
Students can also recieve academic credit for the internship through the University of Maine.
