Apply now for Highstead’s Summer Conservation Internship!

Highstead is seeking a summer intern to assist in producing high-impact outreach materials. The intern will synthesize research reports and work with Highstead’s Senior Conservationist for Conservation Finance and Communications Manager to identify key messages, lessons, and policy-relevant results. The intern will use their communications, graphic design, and writing expertise to develop outreach products for Highstead’s websites, e-newsletters, and social media. The paid internship will run 12 weeks, from May 14, 2018 to August 3, 2018. Housing is provided.

The ideal candidate will have a background in science communications, conservation science, conservation finance, land conservation, or government relations. Priority will be given to candidates with previous exposure to conservation topics. Ideal candidates will also have familiarity with design programs, such as Adobe Illustrator and InDesign.
